Fiber Time!

Jack and I went to visit Pita and Leroy today. Pita looks amazing and 10 years younger after getting a special hair cut from Robin! haha! So great! We gave them a brush down and a little clean up and headed out with two heaving bags of fiber which we took to a processor in Canby. I was amazed at this ladies set up and while going up to the front door was checked out by a row of llamas! She had a decent size shop with all the necessary machinery and fiber in bags from floor to ceiling! It was dizzying and I vowed to convince her to let me intern there this summer! I hope so.. as she is four months out on processing and looks like she could use the help!

Jimmy decided he would rather run around the yard then be held and so he did a flying leap out of Jack's arms and fell on his paw. Thankfully it was a clean break and only has to wear a splint for a month! phew! He now has decided he is a pirate and runs around like a bat out of hell on his pegged leg!

Spring!

Jack and I had a great day off and enjoyed some of the first gorgeous spring weather. After a tasty fruit and granola breakfast we hit the yard doing some yoga, cleaning up the porch, and enjoying some lazy time in the sun.... love.

Bunny's and such...

We had a lazy dazy Easter this year but some how the Easter bunny paid us a visit.
The kids had fun finding their own chocolate bunnies and decorating eggs. haha most of them were brown eggs and we didn't have red food coloring?? So it was creative time! It was uncle Hunter's birthday too so the fam came over for a mini bbq and cherry cheese cake! Happy Easter!

We snagged a yurt at our fav, cape look out, for one whole night! Since the coolness of yurts has caught on it is a rarity to find yourself in one! Poor daddy had to stay and be a coach so I snuck off with the kids, Jimmy, and our good friend Jacque Laura!. We got to spend the first gorgeous day at the beach building sand castles and beach combing. The second day we hiked the cape and showed Jacque our favorite eagle's nest spot.

Jackson turns 5!!

We had the best time at Jack's Star Wars birthday party! Originally he wanted to have a star wars tea party but we got the good fortune of 70 degree weather all weekend so tea was out! He was surrounded by great friends and family and Aunt Kath and Uncle Bri even brought over their bounce house! Nana made the most incredible star wars cake that was the talk of the party. Daddy bbq up burgers and dogs! The pinata was a hit! haha... and Jack got a bevy of wonderful star wars gifts and a new... Bike from grandpa Dan! Great birthday big boy!
