Bijou goes to camp!

We took our big girl to her first summer camp yesterday! Jack showed daddy where all the cool stuff was, the big rock climbing tower, ropes coarse, and bridge. Amongst horseback riding, rock climbing, archery, and crafts Bij is going to have a brilliant time! All with 9 new girlfriends she's bunking with. We got to help her pick out her bunk, the top! and a quick good bye. I feel like I squeezed her 4 different times before we walked away. That was when Tim and I gave each other the emotional, "oh shit, were screwed" look realizing we had our first heart ache of our baby being away!

Sauvie Farm Concerts!

Leia introduced us to the Kruger farm concerts last year on her birthday! We fell in love!
Warm lazy summer weather, barefooted kids dancing, berry picking, chasing chickens, hay rides, blue grass, bbq, roasted corn, good beer, big blankets, gorgeous sunsets, string lights, and permi smiles! Best fun ever and it is every Thursday through August!

Illinoise River Finally!

Its been WAY to long since we've been back to the most amazing river ever! I've touted this place as my church and I'm sticking by it! We were river otters for almost 5 hours and wanted to stay!
We had a great time visiting Robin and Peggy and the pups and vow to come back next year!

Baby Lincoln!

Here he is! In all his amazing cuteness and incredible super toes!

Garden Update

After the cold bit.. the summer weather finally came! The garden is starting to out grow its box!
I'm learning some tips for future placement too! Such as, don't plant the sneaky pea vines next to the massive pumpkin! They want to eat each other! Also planting large jungle like tomato close to little peppers steals their sunlight. All good tips for next year.

Water Park Fun!

We had a super time catching up with Odie and Evan at the Vancouver water park!
After splashing it up we had a crazy close encounter with a bee swarm! Watching it from a safe
distance was pretty amazing!
